  First, I have not had access to FB for several days until this morning because of FB finding malware in the GHS FB page, so I knew nothing about what happened yesterday until OVER 15 people sent me "snapshots" of what was going on and were disgusted with it. The person who posted those things showed up at the shelter last night where I VOLUNTEER endless hours to actually apologize. I didn't even know who she was. Until you know firsthand what a situation is, you or anyone else has no right to judge. You have not been a part of our shelter, nor volunteered, nor ever donated, so as far as I'm concerned you know nothing about GHS and you know absolutely nothing about me. I've given 1,000's upon 1000's of hours of my time in the last 15 years, and my money to keep this shelter open - period!! You don't know me, so for you to judge me at all or the shelter is wrong. I am very non-confrontational, however after losing my mother tragically last month and almost losing a daughter to suicide, I will not stand for people to insult me or try to damage GHS to sweeten their own agenda. We take in animals that no one else will and if you think that we can make everyone happy - that is just not realistic!! One cat, 2 families - someone is going to be upset. I've already had 27 texts of people upset by your post and "why would this person do that when they don't even know you!" I work full-time, oversee this shelter and raise $$$ to keep it open. People come to us (a very minimally funded and tiny shelter) because no one else will help them. You are fine to say what you want, but I truly believe that anyone who uses FB to further their own agenda AND has no clue about the people and organization that they are trying to damage is not using FB for the proper reasons. Lastly, I'm not even sure of what your trying to accuse me of??? Manufacturing a story - believe me, I don't need to make up crap. I am assuming you are very young based on the fact that your making a libelous statement. My commitment and what I've done for the is shelter speak for itself. Unfortunately I did take a snap shot of your statement as I sent it to the shelter attorney - False accusations are defamation of character by libel. The intent to harm someone and putting it on the internet is illegal - period. Until you've been in my shoes and put in the time and financial commitment that I have, I'm asking you not to contact me, or post on our site. Your trying to harm a shelter by making false accusations. I was raised to treat people with respect and in 57 years have NEVER and NEVER will accuse anyone of anything without the facts. Hopefully you will do the same in the future.
